I had the great pleasure of travelling with contiki to egypt in september 2001. The egyptian guide was fantastic although our particular contiki tour guide was a pain in the ass and was later removed from the tour in Amsterdam a few weeks after leaving egypt. Anyone contemplating travelling there won't have any problems and it's certainly the trip of a lifetime!!!!

I really enjoyed the photos and info on your Contiki tour. I was just wandering how the accommodations were. Were the hotels decent and have their own private bathroom facilities? Same for the train and Nile cruise. My girlfriend is going to go with me in March 2001 and is a little reserved about these things.

I have to say your website is incredibly user-friendly and the pictures are amazing. I'm going to Egypt with Contiki in February 2001 and your website was just what I was looking for - saying what an amazing experience it is and advising on a few travel tips that will make the holiday a bit more enjoyable.
